Eurong Beach Resort is World Heritage Fraser Island’s premier resort, set amid acres of lawns and landscaped gardens, on the absolute frontage of the 75 mile 1ong surf beach.
Main Complex
A splendid new complex containing a restaurant, lounge bar, coffee shop and television bar overlooks a large free form swimming pool. A casual beachfront bar and beer garden adjoin a second pool.

A mini supermarket supplies everything from groceries, delicatessen, souvenirs, gifts, camping equipment and fishing gear. Ice, fuel, oils and gas are on sale - in short everything the holidaymaker may require.

| A variety of accommodation, named after some of the historic ships which plied Fraser Island waters, is available to suit all needs, From luxury two bedroom apartments, large family flats, A Frame cottages, motel units and budget units. A 11 of them have private facilities and cooking facilities in full kitchen or kitchenettes and are fully equipped. |
Tradewinds and Coral Sea Apartments
New luxury two bedroom apartments can accommodate up to six people. They have a large lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a large private verandah. |
Korawinga Apartments
Large two bedroom apartments to cater for up to six people, with a large lounge, a fully equipped large kitchen and bathroom. They have large private verandahs. |
Korawinga Units
Large self contained motel units with double or twin beds, and a lounge making into two more children’s singles. They have a kitchenette, and private facilities, and a private balcony or patio. |
Marloo Units
Two bedroom family units to accommodate up to six people with a large lounge, full size kitchen and bathroom. A verandah gives surf views. |
Maheno Units
Similar to Korawinga motel units in facilities and tariff. Verandah overlooking the beach. Accommodation Rates: The same as Korawinga Units. |
A Frame Cottages
Budget cottages to accommodate up to 8 people, with full kitchen and private amenities. |
Surfside Motel
Motel rooms, with private facilities and kitchenette to sleep four. |
Cabins
For safari or education groups only, with four bunks and exclusive use of an amenities block, a camp kitchen and a roofed al fresco dining area. |

- The conference centre in the new Eurong Beach Resort complex can seat 200 people.
- Equipment on a stage includes a lectern, overhead projector, whiteboards, laser pointers and three overhead televisions, video recorders, and a public address system with remote microphones.
- The centre can also be used for entertainment functions and wedding receptions with its parquetry dance floor, and dining and bar service on hand.
- The centre is tiled in dark green and dusky pink and has large windows and glass doors around its perimeter. Blinds can close off all light for film, slide or video presentations. The hire of the convention centre is Price on application.
- A range of units and apartments is available for conference guests. 4WD coach transfers can be arranged from Hervey Bay, the Sunshine Coast and Rainbow Beach and can include scenic stops if requested.
- Alternatively guests may fly in and transfers can be arranged from the airstrip on the west coast of Fraser Island, which is exclusive to resort guests.
- Meals can be organised from working lunches through to opening dinners and award presentation banquets.
- For a break from the convention, or for accompanying family, tours of the island’s most scenic places, rainforest, lakes, and along the surf beach to its coloured sands, shipwreck, fast flowing creeks and magnificent rock headlands can be organised.
